Mist maker

Mist maker, how does that work?

A mist maker creates a cloud of mist  / fog blowing across a water feature or a pond, ever wondered how they work?

They have a small disc (called a membrane) mounted in the unit. The membrane should sit just below the water (Too deep and it will not work, too shallow and there will soon be no water) The membrane oscillates (moves) at a very fast rate (around 32 thousand times / second)

This movement atomises the water making a mist. They should only be used in indoor water features, never in any pond which has livestock If you want a mist maker check out the adverts below (they are free to you to click on)
