Telephone preference service Telephone preference service, what is it? I have registered with the telephone preference service, they put you on a list that all companies that use "telemarketing" are supposed to check, if you are on the list they can not call you. As I said I have registered with them, next thing I receive is a letter from my bank, telling me that they have now found that I am on the telephone preference service list and would I return the enclosed form that says they can call me about their "relevant products and services" Why do they think I registered with the telephone preference service in the first place?
